Where did that come from?

Tonight as I was putting Lulu to bed, she looked up at me and said, "My name is Jones?" Mommy: "No, your name is Lulu". Lulu: "No, Mommy. My name is Jones (giggle, giggle). Where does this come from.

Love it!

Super Bowl--the Boss

For any of you that follow this blog, you know how much Lulu loves music especially her guitar. Her love just keeps growing. On Super Bowl Sunday, during the half time show, Lulu became mesmerized with watching the boss and the E street band perform. She just loved the guitar; she strummed along and kept singing. Stephen was smart enough to DVR the show so know Lulu just keeps saying "I want to watch The Boss". Here she is enthralled!

Let it SNOW!!!!

Here are some pictures of the first "big" snow of 2009. While it didn't amount to much, Duffy and Lulu had a great time. This was the first time Lulu understood how much fun the snow could be. The kids had a great time and built a 2 inch snowman using apricots as the eyes, an almond for the nose, raisins for the mouth and a crab hammer for Frosty's pipe.

Worn out!

My new room!

Duffy and Lulu were so excited to move into the new house and see their new rooms. However, for the first couple of days, Lulu would walk around and say "I want to go home". After a few days, she settled in quickly!

Moving Day!

Over Inauguration weekend (January 16-19), while everyone else in DC was celebrating Obama, the Driscolls were moving into their new home. Five years later, two architects, and lots of decisions, we finally were ready. However, I did realize that after 5 years and two kids, we accumulated WAY more stuff than I thought we had. After lifting one last box, I did pronounce to Stephen that this was the LAST time I was moving. Look out Starving Students--you are on deck next time.
