Halloween 2012

Unfortunately, I didn't take too many pictures this year so I hope these will do.  Happy Halloween...Boo!

Rock Me Like a Hurricane

In the spirit of the metal band the Scorpions, we truly decided to meet Sandy and rock her like a hurricane. We lost power for about 2 days and overall, we felt very lucky to have not lost it longer or have any significant damage like many other folks.

We were able to squeeze in the neighborhood Halloween Party before Sandy left her mark.  The kids had a great time and loved getting dressed up.  Duffy was Harry Potter and Lulu was an astronaut.

As always, this is one of Duffy and Lulu's favorite spirit days as school.

Field trip fun...

This week, I chaperoned Lulu's class on a field trip. We had a great nature hike near Great Falls and then we had lunch together.  Lulu and I had a wonderful day together and it was great to meet some of her friends.  The class also made me a wonderful thank you note and they all drew pictures for me. Thank you!  I had a great time.

Wounded Warriors

Lulu earned her first Daisy petal by walking a mile for the Wounded Warriors.  She did pretty well but next year we are hoping to run the 5K!  It was a great experience for all the girls and they enjoyed learning about helping others and "giving back".
