We're Going to Disney!
Today, Stephen and I told the kids the best kept secret yet--We're going to Disney! We head out tomorrow morning and we are super excited. Here's some video of the surprise.
Hitting the slopes!
For Martin Luther King Day this year, Stephen took Duffy and Lulu to White Tail Resort for their first foray into skiing. They had a great time and Stephen said they made a lot of progress. I'm not sure if they had more fun skiing or intertubing but it looks like they had a great time.

Daddy's Personal Trainer..
I think one of Stephen's favorite Christmas presents was something he purchased for himself. However, not only has it become Stephen's favorite, it has become a family favorite. We all have taken to the pull up bar and try to push ourself a little further each night with our exercises. I think Duffy and Lulu love it the most!
Happy New Year 2011
Duffy and Lulu made it to midnight. Barely.
Happy 2011. Here's to happiness, good health and great cheer to all of our friends and family.

Bowling to El Gato en El Sombrero
Since I had off the week between Christmas and New Years, I tried to make the most of my vacation. One day, Duffy, Lulu, Mimi and I went bowling and in the car ride over we listened to "The Cat in the Hat", which has now become one of their favorite sing-a-longs. We had a great time. I won the first game and Duffy won the second. I sense that this could become one of Duffy's favorite sports.
Santa Claus 2010
Our trip to see Santa this year was even more special this year, as we were able to be with Lang during his visit to see Santa Claus. As always, Pappy has a blast riding the train and Duffy and Lulu loved sharing Santa with their newest cousin.

Happiness!
And of course, the best of part of Christmas (beside being with family), is playing with your favorite presents. Merry Christmas!
Max and Merdith..
Lulu really wanted twin babydolls this year from Santa. It was really a first for her as up to now, she really hasn't shown any interest in playing with dolls. But as Santa always does, not only did she get Max and Meredith, she got a baby carrier, double stroller and lots of extra items to help her take care of her new twins.
It is worth mentioning, that one of Lulu's favorite parts of Christmas, is that Santa left her stroller in the garage because it was too big to fit down the chimney. She really "hoped" this would be the case after she loved hearing the story of Mommy's favorite Christmas, when Santa left my ten speed bicycle in the garage for the very same reason!

He came...
As usual, Duffy was up bright and early and our Lulubear decided to sleep in so we waited, and waited and waited. Finally, our darling daughter woke up and she slowly went downstairs to see who came.
Love Letter to Santa
Duffy did a great job of writing the letter to Santa this year. I think he had fun figuring out what to write and then making sure he left his mark with a picture. They also made sure to leave plenty of cookies and some carrots for Rudolph, in addition to the food outside.
