Lulu's Class Picnic!
This week, I attended Lulu's 3s Class Picnic. We had a great time and I enjoyed seeing her in her school enviromnent. I can't believe she is finished with this three year old program. We love her school and teacher and believe it has been such a great learning year. Lulubear, we are so proud of you!

More Drappa fun..
A couple of nights after Lulu's birthday, she called me into her room and said it was too noisy and she was having a hard time falling asleep. I asked her what was keeping her up and she said "Drappa", (her stuffed zebra). I asked her if we should put Drappa outside of her room and she said yes. Here is Drappa taking a break outside of Lulu's room.

Birthday Dinner Fun!
Good morning FOUR!
As part of our family birthday tradition, we decided to wake Lulu up and sing her Happy Birthday and then let her open one of her presents.

New sayings..
Lately, Duffy's newest favorite saying is..."that rocks!". I'm not sure where he picked it up but it makes me laugh and smile.

Happy Birthday Lulubear!
Dearest Lulubear:
Happy 4th birthday! And what a day it was! We started the day out by waking you up and singing Happy Birthday to you. You didn't really want to wake up from your deep slumber, but we did manage to get you to turn up the corners of your mouth ever so slightly. You were able to open one present and ta-da!, it was a jump rope (not as exciting as you thought). Then we rushed to get dressed and the whole family took you to school today as Mommy made cupcakes for your whole class! Yum! You came home and said they were a hit. I also think you got to be line leader AND pick the story today, whew..what a special day.
Lulu, I love you with my whole heart. You are such a happy little girl. You have an amazing personality. Grown ups single you out all the time and tell Mommy and Daddy what a joy you are, how cute and how lovable you are. I think one of my favorite traits about you is that you seem to have never met a stranger. You will walk up to people and engage them in conversation. You always make people smile. You also love to laugh. You are a silly, silly little girl. You come up with very funny sayings and very funny faces. You just love to entertain. And boy, do you love drama. You can cry at the drop of a hat and go from laughing to tears in a matter of minutes. Mommy and Daddy have learned that this is a "Luluism" and we just know it's part of who you are.
Your favorite food is french fries and anything with salt. You don't like sweets except for ice cream but you are willing to try a lot of foods. You still love strawberries and you recently learned to love red and yellow peppers.
But best of all, you are just so lovable. You love hugs, love to snuggle and are so generous and kind with your words and love. You always have a smile on your face and always love to be loved and GIVE love. You still want to do whatever makes your brother happy as you just love him so much. You two have a very special relationship and it has been fun watching it grow and develop.
Lulubear, I love you with all my heart, tears, smiles, toes, fingers and eyes. You are a smiling star and may you continually bless everyone around you with your love of life. Thank you for making me a better person and for always making me smile. For your fourth year, I wish you a year of good health, lots of laughs and lots of new adventures to explore.
You are forever my Lulubear. I love you so much (wet kiss).
Love,
Mommy

Goodbye 3!
Dearest Lulu:
I just came up to your room to kiss you good night, tuck you in and say goodbye to three. And of course, you made me laugh. I walked into your room and your were humming and had earmuffs on your ears. You are too much. Goodbye 3, thanks for entertaining us, making us laugh and giving us so much love. I can't wait to see what 4 brings. I love you Lulubear, with all my heart. Love, Mommy

Apple Blossom 2010
Long time, no post..
Sorry, friends. It's been some time since I've posted but I hope you enjoy.
Soccer time
This spring, we enrolled Lulu in a soccer program. Basically, it's a bunch of young preschoolers running around but she seems to love it and it's a great way to introduce her to the sport and exercise. Here is Lulu on
the first day of practice.

And then tee ball...
