Check out Lulu's hair..

Her own style, I must say..

Last day of Kindergarten..

Today was Duffy's last day of school and his LAST day of kindergarten. I can't believe it. The year went by so fast. We are so proud of you and it has been a wonderful year of learning. From learning to read and developing math skills to making new friends, you have grown up so much this year. You are becoming a wonderful little boy and we can't wait to see what first grade holds for you. Congratulations on your graduation. We are so very proud of you! Love, Mommy and Daddy!

Topsy Turvey..

Many of you may have seen the infomercial, but Stephen and Duffy decided to invest in a topsy turvey (which has since toppled, but stay tuned..) to try and grow tomato plants. Here they are setting it up..

Marker mess..

As kids will always do..

Spot the insect..

Kindergarten Olympics

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of volunteering at Duffy's Kindergarten Olympics--a fun day in preparation for the end of the year. They had lots of fun games in the cafeteria and then popsicles and pizza.

And the last T-ball game..

And then on to our last T-ball game. This was Duffy's first year of t-ball and he learned so much. Our primary goal was to encourage him to not sit on the bases and to just enjoy the game. He also loved Coach Candace, who really encouraged the children to just have fun. Isn't that what sports is all about at age 5?

Duffy's World Cup?

Here are some pictures of Duffy's last soccer game. He really improved a lot this year and took more of a defensive role within his team. We are very proud and he seems to be enjoying the sport more and more.

Water break...

Restaurant fun!

We tried a new pizza place on Friday night. The wait was long so here is a picture of us trying to pass the time..

Too cool for school...

Our hotel was awesome and the view from the rooftop was breathless.

Mommy and Daddy hit Miami!

A couple of weekends ago, Stephen and I went to Miami/South Beach for a weekend away sans the kiddos. We had a great time and realized the following:
1) We are old
2) We both have a low tolerance for sitting in the sun for a long time as we both burn very, very easily
3) We are too hip for South Beach
4) We are old

Thanks to Barboo and Pops for watching Duffy and Lulu! We appreciate it.

The name of this restaurant still says it all...

Crawfish Fun!

Over Memorial Day weekend, we attended Mr. Kevin's annual Crawfish Party. It was super fun and is always a good time. It was a hot, hot day and this is how the kids decided to cool off.
