Happy 11th Birthday so my dear, sweet Duffy.  I can't believe you are 11.  It has really gone by so fast.  It seems like yesterday you were so busy, busy playing your Legos and buidling things.  You are still busy, busy.  You can't stand to not be doing something.  All you want to do is Play, Play and Play.   You are such a happy child and love being around people.  You make friends so easily and that is such a wonderful trait that I hope sticks with you for life.  You just loving having fun and you make others around you have fun.  You love to laugh and you are always smiling.  We love you so much and are so proud of the person you are becoming.  Please keep working hard on doing your best and always pushing yourself to achieve more.  You have so many wonderful traits and you have so much potential.  Believe in you!

It has been an exciting year, your first girl/boy dance, your first time trick or treating on your own, your first big award for sports.  A year of so many first.  I hope you always know how much I love you, how much I am here to support you, and how I will always, always have you in my heart.

Keep on being this GREAT person that you are, that loves life, that enjoys every minute of the day and appreciates all that life has to offer.  You are the best! Work hard, play hard. That's your motto!  Just stick to it!  Love you with all my heart!

Happy Birthday, Part I.

Happy Birthday, Duffy!  Part one of the celebration was at Mimi and Pappy's house and was part of the Goodbye to their house.  We had many many great memories there and will always remember them with a smile.  Happy, happy times!

Congratulations, Duffy!

This year, Duffy and Lulu did the tennis team at our local pool. They had a blast and were able to play in some matches as well as improve their game.  It was a lot of fun!  We had an awards banquet tonight and Duffy was named "Most Improved Player" for the season. Unfortunately, I was slow to get a picture but I did manage to capture a picture of the award! Congrats! We are so proud of you!!!

W Fun..

Just having some fun with some of our cousins during a visit to W..oh and yes, some cleaning as well.  Mimi and Pappy decided to sell their house this year and "downsize".  We are very happy for them and excited about their new home.  More to come on that later...

Happy 4th of July!  Our pool always has a great 4th of July celebration and this year Duffy and Lulu decided to particpate in the pie eating contest.  I think it's actually good news that they didn't win!
