Crawfish Fun

And our May and Memorial Day, would not be complete without our annual crawfish party pictures. Thank you again, Mr. Kevin.  We always have a blast!

Second best Mother's Day ever...

This year, I had my second best Mother's Day ever (the first being the year Lulu was born).  Daddy, Duffy and Lulu spoiled me with so many treats this year.  However, I think one of the best gift I received was the card Duffy made for me.  It made me cry!

And one more day of celebration...

Since the concert was on her actual birthday, we celebrated with pie on Sunday.  Happy birthday, Lulubear!

Lulu's 7th...

Lulu had a great birthday this year. With lots of surprises...

But I think the biggest surprise of all..was tickets to see TAYLOR SWIFT.!  Lulu and I were lucky enough to celebrate her 7th birthday at the Taylor Swift concert.  We had a great time and we decided that we are always, always, always, staying together!

Happy Birthday, Lulubear!  I can't believe you are 7.  That seems so old to me.  It seems just like yesterday I was dressing you in pretty clothes, with bows in your hair and you were chasing your brother around trying to keep up with him.  6 was a great year for you.  You loved first grade and you really enjoyed reading.  You are getting so proficient in your reading and you are working so hard in school. We are so proud of you.  You also played soccer, swimming, joined Daisies and you tried lacrosse this year.  I think you are really starting to like it--you even earned a "stripe" for paying attention during practice.

It was also a very exciting year--one of the strongest memories is you getting lost at Hershey Park.  Mommy, Daddy and even Duffy, were so worried about you.  But, you knew what to do.  You have a wonderful way of just making the best out of situations.  You are so positive, lovable and just so sweet.  As Daddy says, you have a lot of love to give.  It is so true.  You love hugs, hugs and more hugs.  I love it that you always kiss me when you get on the bus. And your smile--it lights up the room when you open the door.  Every time I see you, I just smile and it warms my heart.  You are also very kind.  You always are looking out and thinking of others first, especially your brother.  I hope that is a trait you will always have in your personality.  But I think what I love about you most is that you love to make others laugh. You are a silly, silly girl and love to put on a show.  I wish you a lifetime of happiness, a lifetime of laughter and a lifetime of smiles.  Your family will always give you a lifetime of love.   Enjoy number 7, Lulu.  We love you so very much, sweet Lulubear.  May you always be my Lulubear.

Happy Bloom 2013

We had a great time at Apple Blossom this year.  We were able to celebrate Kel Kel's birthday and Lulu was able to open up her birthday presents from Mimi and Pappy.  It was one of the coldest Apple Blossom's I remembered in a long time but we still had a great time.
