Picking berries and Mount Vernon

This week, our nanny took the kids to go pick blackberries.  They had a blast and the berries were yummy!  They also made a trip out to Mount Vernon.  I think they really enjoyed themselves and hopefully, learned something.

Mustache Man

Duffy was in a book club this summer and the book that he chose had the word mustache in the title. We decided to get fake mustaches for all of the boys in the book club.

National Anthem

As part of the swim meets at our pool, each age group is given the opportunity to sing the national anthem.  We spent a lot of time practicing but Lulu did great.

Ouch...

Looks like someone had way too much fun in the sun. This picture reminds me of the Coppertone baby picture.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July this year.  Our pool had a party with games, relay races and pie in the face contest.  After hanging out by the pool, we came home for a cookout and s'mores, yum!  It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast.

Let's go Nats!

It is the week of the 4th of July, so we decided to go have some Nats fun.  It turned out to be a little bit rainy but that didn't stop us.  Between the Shake Shack and the ice cream, we managed to have some fun.  Let's go NATS!
