Colonial Day!

In 4th grade, the kids study Virginia history and they have spent a lot of time learning about colonial times. Today, they dedicated the whole day to colonial day and they were able to make soap, do caligraphy and yes, dress up in colonial gear.

A good trip to Williamsburg

We had a great trip to Williamsburg and enjoyed spending time with Barboo and Pops. And of course, the kids always have fun when they visit. This time, Parker took them fishing!

Thinking Day!

Lulu had a great time at Thinking Day--an event for brownies where they learned about other cultures.

Special day..

Today was a very special day. Duffy make waffles for me (without asking) and Daddy was able to take Lulu to the Father/Daughter dance for Brownies. What a great day!
