Duffy's First Day of Kindergarten!

Wow! What an exciting and emotional day. Duffy started kindergarten the Tuesday after Labor Day. I walked him to school and he took the bus home. We had a rough start but the smile when he walked off the bus was worth it. I think momma had a harder time as tears poured from my eyes when I dropped him off. My baby! Enjoy the photos.

THE wedding!

THE wedding finally occured. Labor Day weekend, Kel Kel got married. Both Duffy and Lulu were in the wedding and they had a great time. Here are some pictures of the event.

Last week, in preparation for back to school and since we were missing Kindergarten orientation because of my sister's wedding, I took Duffy up to his new school. We walked around, looked at the classrooms and checked out the big bathrooms. Here is a picture of him outside the school and one with his proud Mommy.

The finale for the show was the BOA. It was huge and weighed 36 pounds. The look on the kid's face was priceless and you can see, Duffy was very impressed!

Duffy's 5th Birthday Party!

Last Saturday, we had Duffy's 5th Birthday Party. It was a great time full of fun, laughter and slimy reptiles. For the celebration, we enlisted the help of Reptiles Alive and got to see lizards, turtles and snakes. It was fantastic and the kids just loved it. Before the show, we had creative activities as the kids colored a snake and made reptiles with modeling clay. After the party, it was decorate your own cupcakes. What a wonderful time!
