Hershey Park 2012!
We headed off to Hershey Park bright and early on Sunday. We had a great time with the exception of Lulu's mishap but other than that, it was a lot of fun. Thanks to R&J, K, A and S for making the trip so fun and memorable.

He's 8!!!
Happy Birthday Duffy! Duffy had a great birthday and invited a few of his friends over for dinner, cake and ice cream. We are heading to Hershey Park tomorrow so it should be a super fun birthday!

Dearest Duffy:
I can't believe you have turned 8. We said goodbye to 7 last night and I think I cried. I will always remember the day your born and how much happiness you brought into my life. I loved you so much. We have had 8 wonderful years together and you are growing up so fast.
It has been a great year for you. You made the All-Star soccer team and you really loved second grade and your team. You are excited about third grade and what will bring but I think you may be worried about all the homework and not having as much time to play with your friends.
You are such a friendly boy--everyone always says, "Hi Duff", "Let's play, Duff" and you make friends so very easily. You loved swimming this summer and you really showed strong improvement in your freestyle.
I love it when you make me laugh. There are so many times when we are just silly with each other and we make each other laugh and then we can't stop laugh. It's like our secret, special thing--making each other laugh.
I love it when you want to cuddle with me and I know that soon you won't be interested so I cherish every moment. I love it when you are sweet and loving and caring. You have so many wonderful traits.
You still LOVE sweets, you still don't like germs and you STILL hate being by yourself. I have to write this down because I know one day this will change.
Duffydoo-I love you with all my heart. Focus on the good and life will be great. Try hard, study hard, and always do your best.
Duffy: I love you more than I love candy and I love you more than the world.

Charleston Fun
